The 2025 Memphis in May International festival honored South Korea and highlighted South Korea’s connection to Memphis through community and various industries. The illustration references multiple cultural items and locations in Korea while the circles each location or item is held in represents the story of Chunhyangjeon. A love story about a couple seperated by circumstance yet remain faithful to one another despite the distance or time apart.
